Keeping In Touch Is Easier Than Ever
Aren't you impressed when in this age of email and voicemail, you actually receive a physical snail mail greeting card in your mailbox? I know I am and it's such a treat! I had always been a big sender of cards through the years. Since I was a teenager (just a few years ago) I've kept a stash of cards in my office so at a moment's notice, I can send a birthday, baby, wedding, sympathy, or just a blank card when I'm thinking of someone. I must admit, however, that as my life got more and more full, I slacked off a bit on the personal notes and succumbed to e-cards. Not that I don't like them. I love 'em! But let's not fool ourselves, it's just not quite the same as getting a real card in your mailbox, is it? A physical card says "I'm thinking of you enough to send you something", which people really appreciate in this electronic age.
About 18 months ago I was introduced to a really cool service that has totally simplified my card sending process, and even better, it's actually increased the number of cards I send while decreasing the cost per card. The service is...
called Send Out Cards. To my surprise and delight, it has changed my whole attitude about card sending. Suddenly, sending a card is fast, easy and actually fun, whereas before using Send Out Cards, it had become a chore and I often sent cards late, if I sent them at all, which is embarrassing, especially for an organizing expert. (we get cut no slack, I tellya) :)
With Send Out Cards, I get the best of both worlds; the convenience
of technology and the emotional
impact of an actual card. I can send
single or multiple physical cards in mere moments all while sitting at
my computer. These aren't some lame generic cards either. The cards are
personally chosen by me from thousands of designs, each card is written
in my own handwriting font with my own signature, and mailed on the
date I want it to go out. I can also embed photos into the cards as
well, which is really cool. Talk about simplifying a task! Wow. This is
a low-effort, high payoff system and I totally dig it.
Let's face it, we'd all like to take the time to sit down and hand-write a card to every prospect and client we interact with, but in truth, who does it? You have the best of intentions, but it seems to just take too long and you have to have the cards and stamps on hand when the mood hits you. With Send Out Cards, it's all web-based, so you can do it from any computer and poof! In the time it takes to check your email, (less than a minute) you can choose, write and send a card without ever taking your fingers off the keyboard.
For example, I'm on a business trip right now and I'm about to hit
the hay for the night. But a few minutes ago, I opened my laptop,
logged onto my Send Out Cards account online and scheduled cards to
mail for a few June birthdays and a thank you card for a new client.
The whole thing took me about three minutes and I'll go to sleep
tonight knowing that those people will each get a personalized card at
the appropriate time. Plus, I've taken one task off my plate for
June.
The Send Out Cards service is not only super-affordable with each
card costing about a dollar, (try finding that at the drug store), but
because it's so fast and simple, I send more cards than ever, which is
great for building and maintaining personal and business relationships.
You can also earn money with the service if you choose to sign up as an
Entrepreneur. Otherwise, you can just use it as a customer. Either way,
you get the benefits of a terrific time-saving service. By the way, the images on this entry are the covers of a few of the ones in my "Favorites" account.
I invite you to try sending two cards for free and see for yourself how easy it is to keep in touch with friends, family and clients without ever going to the card store again. And if you're already a Send Out Cards user, I invite you to leave a comment here, sharing your experience with the service!

This looks like a very interesting opportunity! I'd love to learn more!
