New Year, New Life
Happy New Year! We're at the beginning of a fresh, new, shiny year ahead. It's all laid out like a blank canvas, waiting for you to paint! You can change the parts of your life you're not entirely happy with, but it takes a willingness to commit to new habits, new thought processes, and of course, new actions.
One way to think about and set yourself up for success, is rather than think about a whole year, shift your mindset to twelve months. Then, it becomes more possible in your mind to accomplish great things by simply setting a goal for each month rather than the year as a whole.
What will you do to transform yourself and your life for the better over the next twelve months?

Each year I make only two resolutions:
1. Stay out of jail
2. Keep my own teeth
So far, it's been working.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, Monica!

LOL! Many similar themes in the Blogosphere today!
2007 was a year of learning for me. I ended up smarter, but living in my head. 2008 is time to take what I've learned and put it into action. Mouth shut, eyes open. Slow down, be mindful. Mind like water, take it as it comes.
We shall see!!

Happy New Year to you too! I don't do resolutions...but I did finish my book before the start of the new year! Yeah!
I also recently started learning about Raw Food Diets...and started eating raw only during the day. It's amazing how much better I feel...I learned that I don't get "food fog" from raw food! It's awesome! Luckily I love my fruits, nuts and veggies. And I discovered Raw Cheese at Whole Foods so I didn't have to give cheese up entirely. Also discovered Raw Food Bars. Yum!
Happy New Year!!!

Terry, Gayle and Ariane, thank you for your comments! Ariane, raw food is amazing. When I was eating mostly raw, I didn't get that horrible 3pm slump. I feel sooo much better when I'm eating raw, but I have fallen off the wagon. Hey, perhaps that is a new way to begin the new year, by getting back on the raw-as-much-as-possible plan!
