Resources To Recycle Technology

 With technology changing so rapidly, it's hard to know how to dispose of it when you want to upgrade to the latest and greatest. Who among us doesn't have an old digital camera, camcorder, laptop, computer monitor, or even batteries you're not using? If so, why not declutter your cabinets and drawers and recoup some of the money you spent on it, by recycling some of that old technology at Office Depot? So bring your outdated (but working) technology items into your local Office Depot store to trade them in for an Office Depot gift card today!

Walking Backward, Looking Forward

As I was walking through my neighborhood last week, I decided to turn around and walk a few of the gentle slopes backward. I sometimes do that because walking backward works different muscles in my legs and breaks the monotony of just walking. As I was making my trek up the street, I felt uncomfortable not being able to see where I was going. Even though I have very good hearing (dog hearing, some would say) and I knew I'd be able to hear an oncoming car, I still felt compelled to turn and look behind me (which was actually forward) just to be sure. And even though I looked once, I found myself turning around again and again on the same small stretch of street just to double and triple check. It seemed ridiculous that I didn't have enough faith to just face backward and walk without looking. What was wrong with me? I KNEW nothing was going to happen, but I just couldn't stop turning around. Then I got to thinking...

Do You Bookmark Your Closet?

Do you ever pull a piece of clothing out of your closet and then when you need to return it, do you have a hard time finding the empty hanger again? An easy way to help you find the empty hanger and return the item to the same spot is to remove the hanger and turn it parallel to the shelf where it came out, to "bookmark" your place. When you need to re-hang the item, the hanger will tell you where it came from.

This is how I keep my closet organized and save myself the hassle of searching through my clothes for the empty hanger. I hope it helps you too.
