Hmmm. I don't know if making this sort of gereralization, while controversial, is particularly helpful to people. For one, it is very hard to pin down whether poverty has created the "messes" or whether the "messes" have created the poverty. And secondly, abundance does not necessarily equal monetary wealth. There are those who are poor, and those who are poor in spirit.
